Liegl In Laupheim, Germany has staken delivery of a new KATO IC70R crawler carrier. Liegl is specialized in water and earth works in delicate environments, where machine dimensions and foot prints are key. The IC70R meets the demands of Liegl and its customers perfectly.
The standard equipment of the KATO crawler dumper includes air conditioning, side and rear-view cameras, a comfort seat and intuitive joystick controls. The eight oscillating track rollers reduce peak loads on the tracks and minimise ground impact. The cab offers excellent all-round visibility, providing a clear view of the working environment. The KATO IC70R crawler dumper features a low centre of gravity and high ground clearance, ensuring stable operation and a high level of operator comfort.
The tracked dumper weighs 11.6 tonnes, runs on 700 mm wide rubber tracks, has an engine output of 190 hp, low fuel consumption and a top speed of 12 km/h. The 360° rotating upper structure significantly reduces ground damage. The low transport height of the cab (2.70 m) allows transport on a flatbed truck in many cases. The lower machine weight also offers advantages when transporting two dumpers on a truck combination.
